Sobre el set German WW2 Bismarck Battleship 1/350 Scale Set

Bring one of the most recognisable warships of the Second World War to your collection with the Sluban M38-B1102 German WW2 Bismarck Battleship. This substantial 1/350 scale construction set contains 1,849 pieces and recreates the imposing profile of the German battleship in a display-friendly format. Once assembled, it measures over two feet in length, giving the model the presence of a true centrepiece rather than a small shelf build.

The design captures the character of a full-sized capital ship with a long, powerful hull, layered deck sections, superstructure details, turrets and naval fittings that reward careful construction. Its large scale provides room for shaping and detailing, while the extensive piece count makes the build engaging for experienced builders aged 12 and up. Whether displayed on a desk, in a study or as part of a larger maritime collection, the Bismarck makes an immediate visual impression.

Sluban compatible construction bricks make this a rewarding project for collectors who enjoy military subjects, historic ships and ambitious display models. The set is well suited to an enthusiast looking for a memorable German naval centrepiece, as well as builders who appreciate the balance of hands-on assembly and finished-model presentation. With its dramatic silhouette and generous dimensions, M38-B1102 is designed to stand out from every angle.

Contexto histórico

Bismarck was one of Germany’s two Bismarck-class battleships and represented the peak of German battleship design before and during the Second World War. Built at the Blohm & Voss shipyard in Hamburg, she was launched in 1939 and entered service in 1940. The ship combined heavy armour, powerful main guns and a high top speed, reflecting the emphasis placed on heavily armed surface vessels during the era.

Bismarck’s operational career was brief but highly significant. In May 1941, she took part in an Atlantic sortie alongside the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen, during which the British battlecruiser HMS Hood was sunk. After sustaining damage and being pursued by British forces, Bismarck was located and sunk in the North Atlantic later that month. Today, the ship remains one of the most discussed and recognisable warships of the Second World War, making this 1/350 scale Sluban model an especially compelling subject for naval-history enthusiasts.
