Informazioni sul set Medium Scale Titanic Model Set
Bring one of the most recognisable ships in maritime history to your collection with the Sluban M38-B01551 Medium Scale Titanic Model Set. With 378 pieces and a recommended age of 8+, this display-focused building set captures the stately profile of the famous ocean liner in a format that is engaging to assemble and rewarding to exhibit.
The completed model presents the Titanic’s distinctive four-funnel silhouette, long hull, tiered decks and classic ocean-liner proportions. Its medium-scale format offers a satisfying balance between visible detail and manageable size, making it suitable for a shelf, study, model collection or themed display. The construction process also gives builders the chance to appreciate how a large vessel can be represented through layered sections, repeated deck elements and carefully arranged building bricks.
This is a strong choice for collectors drawn to maritime history, famous passenger ships and timeless engineering subjects. The set works equally well as a hands-on project for younger builders, an introduction to ship modelling or a conversation-starting centrepiece for an adult collection. As part of the Sluban range, it uses compatible construction bricks and delivers a classic model-building experience with plenty of visual character once finished.
Set number M38-B01551 contains approximately 378 pieces. Designed for builders aged 8 and over, it offers a memorable way to recreate the enduring image of the Titanic while adding a substantial, historically inspired ship model to your display.
Contesto storico
RMS Titanic was a British Olympic-class ocean liner operated by the White Star Line. Built at the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, she was launched in 1911 and became known for her immense size, elegant interiors and advanced-for-the-era passenger amenities. Her design reflected the golden age of transatlantic travel, when large liners connected Europe and North America on regular scheduled routes.
Titanic began her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York on 10 April 1912, with stops planned at Cherbourg and Queenstown. On the night of 14–15 April, she struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic and sank. The event became one of the most widely remembered maritime disasters in history, and the ship’s distinctive silhouette continues to inspire museum exhibits, books, films and detailed scale models.
