Историческая справка
The Katyusha was a family of Soviet multiple rocket launchers used during the Second World War. The best-known version was the BM-13, generally mounted on a truck and fitted with rails that launched a salvo of unguided rockets. Rather than firing a single projectile like a conventional field gun, it could release several rockets in rapid succession before moving to a new position.
Its nickname, often translated as “Little Katy,” became closely associated with the distinctive sound and sudden concentration of rocket fire. The launcher’s mobility, relatively simple rail system and ability to deliver a large salvo made it an important example of wartime rocket artillery. Sluban set M38-B0975 interprets this memorable vehicle in building-brick form, focusing on the elevated launcher and practical mobile layout that define the Katyusha concept.
