О наборе WWII Russian BT-7 Cavalry Tank Light Tank

Bring a distinctive piece of early armoured-vehicle history to your collection with the Sluban WWII Russian BT-7 Cavalry Tank Light Tank (M38-B0686). Designed for builders aged 6 and over, this military construction set captures the purposeful profile of the BT-7, a fast Soviet light tank associated with cavalry formations and the mobile armoured warfare of the pre-war and early World War II period.

The model’s appeal lies in its compact tank silhouette, rounded turret, prominent gun, tracked running gear and practical battlefield character. It makes an engaging project for young builders while also offering collectors an accessible way to display an important armoured vehicle design. The set is supplied as compatible construction bricks, allowing it to sit naturally within a broader Sluban military collection or a custom-built historical scene.

Use the BT-7 as a standalone display model, pair it with other period-inspired vehicles, or create a small tabletop convoy, training ground or Eastern Front-themed layout. Its recognisable shape and relatively light-tank proportions give it plenty of visual character without overwhelming a shelf or diorama. M38-B0686 is a strong choice for enthusiasts who enjoy military history, armoured vehicles and hands-on building in one compact set.

Whether purchased as a gift for a budding vehicle fan or added to an established collection, this Sluban set combines accessible construction with a historically inspired subject. Please note that the product listing provides no piece count or scale specification, so the model is best appreciated as a displayable brick-built interpretation rather than a precise scale replica.

Историческая справка

The BT-7 was a Soviet fast tank developed from the earlier BT series and introduced in the mid-1930s. Its Christie-style suspension gave it a notably high road speed, and the design could be adapted for movement on wheels as well as tracks, although tracked operation was the practical norm in combat. This emphasis on mobility reflected the period’s interest in fast armoured formations and deep manoeuvre.

Armed with a 45 mm main gun and machine guns, the BT-7 was intended to support mobile forces and engage lightly armoured targets. It served with Soviet units during the late 1930s and the opening years of World War II, including the fighting on the Eastern Front. By that time, newer and more heavily protected tanks were entering service, but the BT-7 remained an important example of the Soviet Union’s pre-war fast-tank philosophy.
